I started my therapy practice in 1997 after studying complementary and alternative medicine as an outside interest from my NHS nursing practice. Also, in 1990 I discovered the wonderful nutrition products made by Herbalife which boosted my health onto a whole other level with a weight loss bonus! Soon others noticed the changes and asked me to order for them. I did of course and their results brought even more orders and, as they say,  the rest is history!

I began my career in nursing then trained and worked in midwifery before moving on to Health Visiting. I also worked in health and related further education at Northeast College and guest lectured at RGU, assisted research at Aberdeen University and taught for the National Childbirth Trust. At the then Aberdeen College I taught pre nursing, nursery nursing and caring related subjects) and at Robert Gordon University the legal and ethical aspects of Complementary Therapies.

While lecturing at Aberdeen College I volunteered to help on a massage course as a 'study subject' for the students. After several weeks I felt a noticeable therapeutic benefit which inspired me to sample other complementary and alternative medicines and to begin my training which ultimately led me into my current practice as a Complementary Therapist and Personal Wellness Coach.

These roles perfectly reflect my view of achieving and maintaining wellness through a healthy and active lifestyle including; regular exercise and intelligent nutrition (high quality produce and supplements).

This includes essential body maintenance through regular use of therapies such as remedial and sports massage, reflexology, pregnancy massage and other therapies.

Balance and harmony are perfected through 'time out' from the pressures and tasks of daily living by regular use of relaxing therapies such as Reiki, Aromatherapy, Reflexology or Indian head massage etc.

My practice is based on the belief that my customer's needs are of the utmost importance and my commitment to meeting those needs towards achieving their balance and harmony. A high percentage of my business is from repeat customers and their referrals.

I would welcome the opportunity to offer you the same quality of service.

I have a wide knowledge and experience from over 25 years in wellness coaching, healthcare promotion, training, teaching and researching in complementary and alternative medicine.

I have gained valuable insight and understanding of my client's needs through personal experience of the benefits of the services having used them extensively myself.

This includes daily nutritional supplementation, maintaining my ideal weight for over 20 years with optimised health and sports fitness.

Many of my clients have reached and surpassed their initial goals by combining therapies and Herbalife nutrition.

I took part in the 2008 London Triathlon and found sports massage and the Herbalife sports nutrition invaluable for training, performance and recovery.

In 2014 I was a Sports massage therapist at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games. This was an incredible opportunity to practice on athletes from across most of the events, advancing my knowledge and skills to another level.
